“…and a coupla chickens”. This is a scene near my home in Hailey, Idaho, which I’ve painted 4 times now. The original painting is 17” x 22” and it’s hanging in my home. It’s one of only a few paintings I will not sell . Each time I look at it I feel serene and I feel that I should paint more cattle scenes. I take the presence of ranch scenes for granted because of their abundance. The title refers to the 2 chickens in the lower right of the painting.
